Plenty of people have given good reasons for sunsetting, but you don't listen... too busy whining everyday. Let bungie do their job, they have been in the industry for 20+ years. Meanwhile, you have 0 experience. Noob.

Doesnt name a single reason, intstead says to place blind trust in a COMPANY that has undeniably (and admitted to) -blam!-s shit up when not being given feedback. All I'm saying is, the last thing bungie did without the community having a big say was sunsetting. Before that was Gambit, and WAY before that was Xp throttling. Should I start on d1's mistakes? Not to say Bungie shouldnt be given a chance tho. Joe Blackburn seems pretty good, and if anything in this TWAB is to be taken seriously, we'll maybe see what Destiny was supposed to be years ago?

No we have not been given a good reason for armor sunsetting. And I've played games for 20+ years and with that experience can say that sunsetting has been one of the single worst designs to experience in any game on the user end the ease of "balance" be damned. Balancing Destiny is like playing with dublos compared to the bigger competetive games on the market and still it's the player base who gets stomped for the "fix".

When I've seen dozens of threads, and literally thousands of posts over the last several months, and players defend sunsetting, the topic immediately gets focused on weapons, and not armor. Please do not use number of years of relevant experience as a qualifier. I guarantee I have more than most, if not all at Bungie. And I've also seen some pretty dumb people who simply maintain 1 step above competence to not get fired, so years of experience only go so far.
