i gots a few more questions that the lore junkies can answer so here it goes! 1. canonically, how many times has our guardian died? i know in the last call quest after cayde’s fight scene, ghost says “welcome back” and that we fell a few stories, so there’s one. any others? 2. do guardians grow hair? in the dark future lore book it mentions zavala having a beard, and in the titan hunt armor lore the titan has a beard he grew during the red war, but both of these were in situations where they didn’t have the light. so do guardians not have to cut their hair/shave because it never grows or what? 3. in a few different lore entries it talks about guardians dying hours later in some situations. did their ghosts not want to heal them? like, why let your guardian die a slow death if you can heal them during that time instead of waiting for them to die so you can revive? is there an explanation as to why they didn’t? 4. how exactly were the scorn made? in uldren’s lore book it said he like... cried on a fallen? and i guess that... turned him into a scorn? are you telling me the scorn were made from uldren’s tears? cuz if so i find that hilarious. 5. are there more civilians than guardians or the other way around? what’s the ratio of civilians to guardians? and last but certainly not least... WHERE. THE HELL. IS FENCHURCH??? where did he go? ok that’s it. thanks in advance!
scorn when they see uldren: father me, an intellectual: scorn daddy

1) unconfirmed, but assume it’s a lot. 2) Guardians may have the ability to come back from the dead; but out biology works. We can eat and digest, excrete, breathe, and have high functioning motor neurone skills. Growing a beard is very possible. We’ve also seen it. Osiris and Saladin both have beards. 3) I’m not entirely too sure about what lore tab you’re referring to but it’s likely either the ghost’s choice (maybe the guardian wasn’t all to good) but it could be the Guardian’s choice. The latter is more likely as Ghosts don’t tend to leave a guardians side. 4) from a little bit after the events of the Battle Over Saturn, Uldren became corrupted by Riven. He managed to create the House of Dusk and started leading scavenger crews out in the Reef. Remaining out of sight of both the Awoken and Guardian forces. He was with some members of House Kings when he found the dying Archon. He felt some sadness and wished that Fikrul wouldn’t die; shedding a tear which fell into Eliksni’s wound. The body began to be corrupted by darkness and the Ether in his body began to turn into Dark Ether which was then recreated and used to create the Scorn army. 5) it’s unknown, but I’d argue its probably something like 2:9 guardians to civilians. 6) Fenchruch Everis is a member of Ikora’s Hidden. He writes a few entries of the Stolen Intelligence lore book. He’s out there doing stuff for her.

for the ghost one, i’m mostly referring to drifter starving to death for one, and then in the tangled web lore book, it says...
He died hours later of internal hemorrhage.
why didn’t glint just heal crow instead of waiting hours for him to die? as for drifter, i’m sure starvation isn’t really a thing ghosts can heal, but it’s still an example also i had no idea fenchurch was part of the hidden

Ghosts can fix all of that. The Starvation thing can be fixed by a ghost; in fact Drifter’s ghost comments on that saying “I can fix it”. But obviously Drifter doesn’t want that. And for Crow, I think it’s just a case that Crow is too full of himself to acknowledge it. I mean in the Coup De Grace mission he brushes off getting a broken leg. Regardless in both of those situations it’s in the guardian. Not the ghost.
