I must be missing something here honestly. Gilded titles? Srsly this is no way enticing. Here’s some things you could do instead: Create in game sources to earn sleeper, and other catalysts that are now locked behind vaulted content. Create rare drop strike armor rewards with the items themed around the bosses of those strikes Introduce the old trials of the nine weapons into the loot pool of the prophecy dungeon Create meaningful ways for veterans players to interact with the cosmodrome again (currently no reason to go there other than one or two heroic lost sectors. The list goes on... In short it’s becoming obvious to all I think that perhaps development has been split into two at bungie - A team has moved onto a new I P and destiny has been given to B team fir the time being. The brief seems to be create as much as possible with as little resource as possible. This game won’t survive on recycling, perhaps they are banking on enough money being made through eververse to bankroll whatever other product they are working on atm - who knows really. Come on wake up guys this approach is not working!

There are bigger problems right now. Start focusing on things like sunsetting, New content, cheaters and bugs in quests. We don't care about titles.

I pray that state of the game update comes sooner rather than later next season. We desperately need it right now. We're currently in one of the lowest spots the franchise has been in (certainly the lowest since d2 y1). We need to know whats happening this year. The content that shipped with beyond light was overall good, but the extreme lack of new loot with the addition of the entire lootpool being stripped away hurt the game A LOT, and beyond light didnt hold up well passed the first few weeks. The game needs more staying power. We especially need updates and content for the playlist activities, id say more than anything else in this game. New crucible and gambit maps, New game modes for crucible, an update to strike playlist and revamped strikes or new strikes (if yall make the strike playlist identical to the heroic strike playlist in d1 y3, with the modifiers, exclusive loot, scoring, and revamping encounters within the strikes, it would be near perfect. Also, just flood the strikes with enemies, there's too few right now and there's too much fighting for kills). For real though, we need to know the plan here. We need to know that you guys understand the problems with the game right now and we need to know what changes in order and when to expect them. Ive never been worried about the future of the franchise before. I am right now.

Does Joe Blackburn play this game? Does he have 3 characters at max light? Did he grind the same crap over and over and over? Was he told his weapons will be sunset, then told wait, you can still use them but you need to spend countless hours finding them again? Has he experienced cheating in crucible? I don’t want someone who just reads what we are experiencing, I want someone who is going through this crap to tell us about the future of destiny. Hopefully he truly understands.

Lame. But hey, want to know what I did today? I decided to give the Harbinger mission a go - had some spare time. Not because I'm super excited about the idea of RNG random roll exotics, because I'm not (all you're doing there is forcing more grind), but because I would like to get the Catalyst. So, I carefully plotted my loadout knowing what I've seen about the mission. Unstoppable HC, check. How about Zeno - oh, it's under leveled. No biggie - I have lots of infusion fuel laying around. Check. Energy? Oh - I have this very well rolled Perdition. It's void - perfect! I just need to level that up too. No prob - I have this other Perdition with shit rolls at 1254 - I'll use that. WARNING.... WTF??? Can't level my well rolled master worked Perdition above 1060? -blam!- You, Sunsetting!

So whats the actual thought process on sunsetting then reissued gear?
