I've gone three weeks having capped everything but a Warlock Bond at 1260, and I still for the love of me don't understand the RNG system this game has. I have double, triple, and even quad 1260 pieces in all sorts of different spots, but literally cannot get one for a class item.
I've tried rotating the lure, but I for the love of me could not get it to reset to a class item. I've given up on it. I mean in two weeks I'll get blues dropping at a light level higher then the gear I have on now.
I really REALLY hope that bungie re-evaluates this method, and goes to a alternate leveling system.

There are are only a few charges of getting high-Power gear Each week. Please bungie, don’t spoil our fun in the game by letting rng to determain the gear you’re getting. Simply reward us with the kind of gear we need to be able to level up further. Then the reward feels like a reward! Getting a high power gear, you already have, sometimes 2,3 times in a row, makes me frustrated and “rage-quit” the game. Still I keep comming back, because i love the game...

If the warlock bond is your last gear not at 1260, i recommend you run Prophecy dungeon. Boss pinnacle drop rng is very favourable to your lowest light gear. Done that way for my titan & warlock. Will do for my hunter soon. Clan mate had same issue as you, and he got that last piece seriously from Prophecy boss drop after i told him to try. So, try it too. Nothing to lose. Good hunting!

You know you can choose a pinacle with the wrath born you can rotate the pinacle.

The rotation still RNG based, and you only get a few chances.

3 weeks needing arms for my Warlock. Last week's pinnacles were entirely power weapons with 1 extra helmet to go with the other 4(!) 1260 helmets I already have wasting space from the week before. RNG? No way is it random. It's designed to keep completionists running the hamster wheel for as long as possible.
