He is sitting at the bar, crying his eyes out. Araxinus is sitting, comforting him. You know something big is going on if Araxinus isn’t making fun of him for crying.
-
I sit at a barstool. "What's wrong with him now?"
-
Araxinus chuckles. “Mutiny.”
-
"What about it?"
-
“His best friend and head admiral, Star Gazer, just pulled off a coup and declared him a traitor. The only Wolves still loyal to him are the fleet around Ceres. It’s all he has left.”
-
"Ok?" I order a Brandy.
-
“You must understand that that army was his pride and joy. Hey, stop that!” He says as the Wolfkeeper tries to order another drink.
-
"Ok." I take my brandy and take a sip.
-
The Wolfkeeper manages to say, “Rax, we have to talk to the Dealer.” “We can’t! He doesn’t want to talk to anyone right now.” Araxinus responds with a hint of exasperation in his voice.
-
"Who is this Dealer?"
-
Araxinus looks over. “He’s the one who gave Wolfie here his Throneworld. He’s basically the only person he answers to.”
-
"Ah." I nod.
-
“We have to see him! He’s the only one with any answers.” Wolfkeeper slurs.
-
"Then lets see him."
