BotW wasn’t a super great game imo. It was okay, but just okay.
F2P games tend to suck the fun out of games that’d otherwise be amazing.
As I understand it, Genshin Impact is basically a F2P BotW, so I can’t say I have much interest in it. Okay game formula + fun draining payment sustem = probably not very good game.

What didn't you like about it

Th world was bland, and empty, the story was pretty barebones, the dungeons were some of the worst we’ve gotten, the bosses were even worse than the dungeons, being able to climb anything makes it extremely easy to miss the few cool bits in the world, and while I understand what they were going for with the minimalistic soundtrack, the end result is.. Well, a boring minimalistic soundtrack. It’s just a really mediocre game in almost every category. It has its merits—I like the way elements interact, and the durability system was fun—but its cons pretty heavily outweigh its pros.
-
Some fair decent complaints, only ones I think I disagree with are dungeons and empty world. The soundtrack did suck, thats why I always had my music on in the background when playing 😂

I dunno, between all 4 Divine Beasts there’s only, maybe, 1 or 2 puzzles I even had to think for. They didn’t even have fun aesthetics going for them, because all 4 of them look the same. There were a couple fun puzzles in the Shrines, but that hardly makes up for full fledged dungeons. Can’t say I understand how you disagree with the world being empty. Any game where I sit on my phone in between destinations has something of a problem. >.>

Well there's areas that are meant to feel empty and some towns that feel full. I personally like paragliding across a beautiful landscape, and falling into an enemy camp while feeling bad ass. Its probably just me though :P
-
No, paragliding over a field into an empty camp is definitely fun. :p But, like, you can have beautiful sprawling landscapes, and still have interesting things in them. And some places—like Hyrule Field—definitely needed to stay empty, for story purposes, and junk. But the points of interest are just too far and few between, imo.

I'm just saying; not for you, but its a good game for me. Hopefully the next one is a good one you like. Personally wind waker is my favorite Zelda game, but botw is a close 2nd

What’s the point of that statement, though? Obviously some people like it, and other people don’t. The important thing isn’t who likes or dislikes it, but why. Wind Waker’s definitely really good; #2 for me, just behind Majora’s Mask.

If he says weapon breaking I’m going to *bonk* him.

But I like weapon breaking...
