For some reason the latest drivers for this game are a problem so I think.
Is a problem of your card drivers because I have the same problem when I did the most recent update wait it will come out again very soon (about 7 days calculated) it happened to me a month ago for this I tell you

I have simiar problems since nvidia driver updates (round about Oktober/November 2020). Destiny 2 (and also other games ) freezes randomly completly so i have to hard reset computer. mostly i got a BSOD event in the eventviewer (nvidia driver hang up). On 7.1.2021 a new nvidia driver was released, i hope this or future version fix this.
