Hi there,
Are you clicking the Beyond Light button on the map, or going to Variks?
If you're clicking the button on the map, that's not actually how you start the DLC, that's just an advertisement for the Deluxe Edition. You can access the campaign by talking to Variks on Europa and picking it up from him there.
