I thoroughly enjoy the people who say they needed to sunset the gear because it was problematic and encouraged power creep. Guess that's why we have Stasis, which literally breaks whole encounters in the game including raids, strikes, gambit and pvp. Arguably better than all the light based subclasses in pvp as well. The most powerful sword in the entire game right now and a grenade launcher that breaks the game more than the old God King Telesto. All the power creep weapons got sliced down. No more recluse, NF, Moutain Top etc... Not to mention most of the end game meta defining weapons are exotic, which none have been sunset. What about solving the "power creep" issue?

They had to remove the perk in the d1 loot pool cause it was so consistent. The people who are defending or using the “power creep” issue have no logic or actual argument.

  • Funny how Felwinter is literally (and has been since it came out) the #1 or in the top 3 most used guns/special weapons in pvp across quickplay, Survival and Trials. But remember when Hard Light was meta in Trials for a week or 2 and literally EVERYONE begged for it to be nerfed I to the ground? Yet there's Felwinter, chilling at the top, all day everyday. 🙃 I have yet to see any other gun take it over.

Then you have stasis and stuff like the lament that are actually broken powerful. Meanwhile I didn’t see a single person complain about the blasphemer or the arc logic. Logic? None <

  • Anything that's disrupted the Handcannon + Shotty meta is almost instantly lambasted by the community. Don't get me wrong, I may be a bit biased as a Handcannon user, but I like some variety once I awhile. I had enough of Luna + Dust Rock for year straight and Summoner/Gnawing was equally as annoying. I just wish more weapons were viable and not the same hand picked 3-4 guns that everyone settles on. I've even been taking out some blue and even green guns from the collections and doing well with them. There's a lot of sleeper guns in there. There's more guns than just Felwinter, Ace and Suros 😏

In around 1.5-2 months (after finally getting the curated roll) I have put 950+ kills on this thing! Bored of the crimson or ace of spades ect ect. I hardly use them now after getting not forgotten ect ect. It just makes me laugh when people compare or talk about “power creep” when talking about the not forgotten vs moon earned guns.

Lol because it isn't an issue. It's literally just a -blam!-ing lie for the fan boys to lap up. Sunsetting content, weapons, supers, soon exotics - it's not about us or creating a better experience for us, it never has been. That's just the bullshit they tell us. The reality is its about turning Destiny into a low cost addiction machine creating a game that is easier to balance and maintain on dripfed FOMO and Eververse content with a smaller dev team while diverting all available resources to their new IP and milking Destiny for every penny they can. It's insane how people can't see this. People think they 'messed up sunsetting', no they didn't. This is exactly what they intended and exactly what we said it would look like. 'Mistakes' this big don't happen. This isn't an oversight. It's all intentional

  • I wouldn't have minded SunSetting if they actually gave us unique and interesting perks. I mean it's been almost 7 years and even after SunSetting and the DSC Raid guns, we're still just chasing Reload and Damage perks. Like hey, what's the god roll on the DSC shotgun? Uh... Massive damage and 12 in the mag. 🙃 Uh ok... I kind of want to see some borderland type crazy guns up in here.
