I'm not sure what's giving the community the idea that this game is run by a democracy. Bungie will do what they feel is best for the game and have shown this repeatedly in the past. And to be fair to Luke in this case, he seems to be talking about something that would eventually have to happen if they were going to unify the supers and make them like the stasis model. He's not saying this is something that's going to happen next week. People whined endlessly about weapon sunsetting but people seem to still be playing and I personally think the game is healthier for it. People need to stop complaining about Destiny while still logging in 30 hours a week. If you don't like the direction the game is going you're free to take your time and money elsewhere.

This childish argument will never end, and I will never get tried of making fun of you for it 🤣

Is it ok if i come to the forums and chat about what I don't like? That's what they are for, right? Talk about what I do and don't like about the game. Don't tell me to just go somewhere else. Why don't u go somewhere else

Edited by MC 077 Lasombra: 12/18/2020 1:01:39 PMWanting the power fantasy game they promoted, sold and have claimed to want to make isn’t think it’s a democracy. It’s wanting the advertised bacon cheeseburger to come with bacon, cheese, beef patties and a bun. Not a bun and a single patty. I think that’s called getting what you paid for. Which is what a company that sells a product is supposed to do. Sell the product they advertised. Don’t know why you think you can dictate people on what to do either, you aren’t a dictator. Mind your -blam!-ing business if you don’t like what people have to say lol They are paying customers, they can say whatever they want on the subject. Just because you like no one can argue against it? Spoiled brat.

Edited by Fish: 12/18/2020 2:10:13 PMI agree with your statements but I don't think the applies here. You're just kind of proving the stereotype that all Destiny Forum users are just whiny babies with zero critcal thinking skills. Oop. I made that stereotype up, but I think it applies here.
-
How don’t they apply and how and I proving the stereotype? Cause making those statements without an explanation doesn’t show any critical thinking skills and is whining about people with no reasons given. Which sounds like you’re doing exactly what your accusing me of. So......🤣🤣🤣🤣🤡

Edited by Fish: 12/18/2020 2:27:31 PMBecause we were given the burger we were advertised. Your perception of the that burger may be equal to one with only meat and bread and thats alright, but we got what was on the picture.

Edited by MC 077 Lasombra: 12/18/2020 2:44:38 PMHow is a reduction back to D1 single super subclasses the burger we were advertised? D2 was a soft reboot of the series. Luke Smiths own words from a D2 vidoc. So any reduction below the minimum bar set by base D2, not including the advertised additions since base D2, is not the burger we were advertised. Rebranding a bacon cheeseburger as a regular burger doesn’t change the fact that it’s no longer a bacon cheeseburger either. If you wanna try that route That’s like Luke calling Destiny an MMO when it never has been. As there is nothing massive about the online component of the game. Six man teams and nine man playable zones isn’t massive. It’s a joke. Especially when other FPS games have modes with upwards to 40 players in a game together. Want to flex those critical thinking skills some more?

Is it not being advertised what the bruger is? You're aware of what it contains and what it will. Everything is communicated. How much of a warning did we get on sunsetting? Again, if you don't like the burger that's a different story.
-
When did they advertise that the power fantasy theme would be cut down midway? They said the game would grow. That’s not happening when they cut more content then they add. When they remove power from a power fantasy game. That opposite of what’s advertised. Sunsetting was advertised as replacing what was taken. Which they haven’t lived up to yet. I also don’t see what the time frame of the warning has to do with delivering on what you advertise. Wiggling much? You have so little to stand on you have to bring up something irrelevant? That isn’t the case here with supers. It’s taking away and leaving you what’s left. That’s someone taking your bacon cheeseburger away when your halfway done and giving you a half of a regular burger to finish off in its place. So far there is no clear communication on it either either. Luke talking about future ideas they might want to try implementing isn’t clear communication. Not at all, so comparing it to the communication we got with sunsetting is a failure of a last ditch Hail Mary argument. If these are those critical thinking skills...you fail miserably. And prove the stereotype of the typical BDF clown. Git gud scrub 🤡🤡🤡🤡

Ehhh I can’t do it. I can give my two cents on the forums that’s kinda what they are for. Will I continue to play until I feel like it’s not funny anymore? Yeah. Just because people play the game doesn’t mean they don’t disagree with some things that are done??I Disagreed with sunsetting...but I’m still here and playing because it didn’t break the game for me. I really didn’t like it...I made a post against it in fact...but it still happened. And I am still here lol. I’m not leaving yet.

May I please point you to Destiny 2 Year 1 - Bungie took the game in the direction they wanted, not what the community asked for and it backfired spectaculary. The literally had to Hail Mary it with Forsaken and implement all of the community feedback just to keep the game alive. Destiny is a live game and that is how they are making their money - active players. If the PLAYERS do not like the game, then you have no playerbase to make money off of. Yes it might not be a democracy in the most literal sense, but it is if Bungie wants to keep making money. With sunsetting, we are not seeing the effects of now, since there is new content, but as the year goes on, people will definitely feel it much more. And just stop with the complaint about people still playing the game even though sunsetting happened. yes it sucks and many people were against it, but one decision will not stop people from playing the game they love. However, continuing to make these decisions (like sunsetting supers, then maybe exotics?) will drive people away. The repeated offense of ignoring the community is what screwed up D2 Y1, and it will tank Destiny now if Bungie doesnt stop and listen to their players.

if they wanna make light subclasses have the stasis model, that doesn't mean they have to get rid of supers. there's even a specific super section in the stasis model now that's empty, so why not just give us the option to switch between them there? it doesn't make any sense to vault a fundamental play style
-
No one is treating it like a democracy but it’s very simple the customers wants a Service/product so the company provides Service/product, if the company doesn’t want to provided said things then customers walk away, with that said the destiny Community are gluttons for punishment so that ain’t gonna happen so bungie is just gonna keep doing whatever the hell they want.
