House of Stone - House of Light

Well....I don't think many of you would be hearing the name of Chelchis again. *Ahem* For those of you who never got the chance to Taken King, Chelchis is mentioned within a Rifle of his final words before his Death. Chelchis once being the Kell of House Stone that were the only House to stand and defend the Eliksni Homeworld of Riis whilst the rest of their people evacuated. It was evident enough that Chelchis fought and died to the hands of Oryx, the Taken King as a final stand of his strength of fortitude against the Hove, wven making him somewhat a worthy foe to be slain by Oryx himself. Now to the topic...why would I mention such name after so long.....well given the recent events of the Eliskni and Misraaks being mentioned of creating a House in defence of both the Traveler and Earth, I propose that Misraaks has becomr the Figure of Chelchis, defending his new home. Just as the Kell of Stone once did for his home. What do you guys think? Think I'm right or just a 'Bug' sympathiser?
Thanks to KSeth, Skybro and Ringleader and Kell of Rain for the much needed lore on the House of Stone and Traditions of the Eliksni, without you guys I probably wouldn't had gotten into Eliksni lore more so than the Vex
• If you listen to the radio at the strangers camp on europa during the campaign i think it was phyliks the warrior (probably got the name wrong) mentioned Chelchis along with skolas and aksis saying bring them back to life or something? I carn’t remember so take it with a grain of salt.

      • Well... I'm not saying you're wrong but I'm also not saying you're right Sure he's doing something that Chelchis probably would've been down for, but I wouldn't say Mithrax has become the new equivalent of him Mithrax, for all his pros, wishes to disregard Eliksni culture entirely. Sacrificing it in exchange for peace with humanity While Chelchis gave his life to defend their golden age

        •
Thanks to KSeth
Thats me!
Well....I don't think many of you would be hearing the name of Chelchis again.
Funny that you mention that, Phylaks actual did say Chelchis’s name in Beyond Light. It was in a speech she gave that appears both in the Once-Shipstealer lore book and in audio from the Stranger’s radio. I will warn that there are a lot of assumptions made about Chelchis and Stone. For example, we don’t know if Oryx personally killed or Took him and it’s extremely likely that many Houses died during the Whirlwind, not just Stone. Anyway, I personally wouldn’t compare Mithrax to Chelchis. Chelchis died defending his people. Mithrax’s defining quality in the game is wanting to unite with humanity. To me these two things just don’t have anything to do with each other, other than wanting to live under the Traveler and wanting peace for the Eliksni, which aren’t unique traits amongst the Eliksni. Those are my thoughts.

          • What would make this theory perfect is if Misraaks helps us fight Savathun. Then it would be like Chelchis vs Oryx all over again, only this time the Eliksni stand tall.
