I tested it while sitting in orbit and turns out I have 2 problems but before I go there some context is needed. I'm using a 1080p 144hz monitor and in the nvidia control panel I have G-Sync and V-Sync turned on. In all other games and in D2 prior to yesterday's patch, my fps would cap at 144 as expected. Now however it does cap at 144 but that is until I get past the "Press enter to play" screen. After that it caps at 139 for some reason. I tested other games and they cap at 144 as they should. Back to D2. I was sitting in orbit observing my framerate and I found out that while sitting at 139 it would drop down to 135 every few seconds for no reason at all and when that would happen it would feel like my monitor just flickered. It was very severe and noticeable, nothing like something that g-sync should have taken care of as usual. And also the framerate when walking around and doing stuff anywhere is very unstable.
