Agreed, they coulda changed the holding aces and LITC perks to only do the bonus damage on crits. So people wouldn't spam body shots.
Hell, they could have even made hawkmoon into an exotic version of the not forgotten and that would have been good.
Basically 2 crits makes the third shot do bonus damage. NF and Luna are both sunset anyway. I bought this dlc for hawkmoon tbh and im a bit disappointed.

If you spammed body shots it would’ve taken you 3-5 shots to kill... That’s not at all how the gun was used.

What we have now with Hawk is basically a worse Lunas's howl/ Not forgotten which is so sad.

How? It’s stats are amazing and with rangefinder it can become a really good gun. You can also 2 tap, 3 tap with 1 body shot and two headshots and 1 shot people. It’s pretty good.

Should have just given Not Forgotten the Paracausal intrinsic perk and made it into an Exotic, then just name it Never Forgotten. Make it an OP PVP gun. What did Hawkmoon do to deserve being a kitbashed reprise without its cool perks, maybe Bungie ran out of luck and went all in, when they should have folded.
