one of the best things i think bungie can do too help alleviate the sunsetting problem going on rn goes as follow -bring back factions, let us turn in extra bummed materials for packages for rewards and have faction rallies once a year to test our "loyalty" to our factions by using the loot that we got over the year in playlist locations to gain experience and progress for our faction and then reward the winning faction rallies. -make strikes great again. i dont wanna play nightfall the ordeal AD INFINITUM for cores prism and gold balls and chase exotic rolls (imo lost sectors are a faster and easier way to get those exotic rolls now) add strike specific loot. im not just talking about weapons im talking about armor ghost shells sparrows the whole 9 yards. grasp of malok is a great example of why itll keep people coming back to farm these activities. -gambit the game mode itself is fine rn, i actually reallly really like the changes HOWEVER once again i think there should be more loot. since gambit has different maps how about we have map specific loot along side with the loot pool that youre making? youve already sorta did it with the meatball with the specific loot you can get from him why not continue that trend. -crucible needs NEEDS a reason to go into. im not talking trials. or comp or iron banner though the suggestions just do apply. have rare loot drops that crucible plays would prize and have loot that would bring over players that play other activities into crucible on the chance that they could get that sweet sweet loot man! -iron banner. is unacceptable. completely and utterly. diusgraceful. refresh the loot. dont add a scout rifle or a hand cannon. refresh it. end of story. this also applies to new armor. if youre going to keep iron banner going and stop faction rallies EVEN THOUGH they suffer from almost identical problems just get rid of it as well. were tired of seeing the same loot over and over and over again. fix it. -the last one, a banshee vendor refresh one a year. im not talking about 3 guns im talking a dozen or 2 weapons. -make all raids gear (weapons AND armor) behave like exotics in the sense that they cannot be sunset. why should people raid if the gear for an end game activity like a raid were to just be invalidated in a years time anyways? this problem i think also extends to trials of osiris since it is a pinnacle activity like the raid they should also be exempt from sunsetting.
