They’ve gone over this but with current work force and the way they have to work from home. It would just not be a good time investment for them. Think about how large the srl tracks in d1 were. Completely unique areas that were massive and had unique assets in them. That’s all great but it was all for a single activity that was around for 3-4 weeks a year. It just wouldn’t be a smart idea. Granted with that if they aren’t making that other stuff should be there to make it up like idk a new crucible map would be nice. Even a revamped d1 map at this point ( floating gardens when)

And sun setting has nothing to do with them working from home. That was needed to rotate weapons like recluse end mountain top out of the pve and pvp meta and the majority of guns that can roll outlaw kill clip/outrage

People should get to use what tha want all bungie have ben doing is resking guns not doing new guns if bungie to good new guns people like people use the now gun if not tha do not sunseting is not going to change thet

We literally just had a new expansion with a bunch of completely new weapons. Ntm you can still use guns that have been sun set in activity’s where power level doesn’t matter like quick play or any of the legacy shadowkeep and forsaken content

The people i no r useing the guns form the new expansion but not do to sunseting do to the new guns being good and do to the new guns being 100% new not just reskid guns my friends who have not got the expansion still use the guns bungie sunset for all of the game so what message do you get form thet but not just thet sunseting is wrong people should be able to use the guns tha want in the active tha want 90% of my friends pick not to buy the expansion do to the way bungie is runing d2 now aka volting sunseting and session pass thets 90% of 1k friends btw games should be fun bungie want us to use the guns bungie tell us to use to people how bungie want us to play to like the special actives people who wark for bungie like and to buy in to liess how is thet fun its not what i payd for is d2 still the game you payd for

I honestly don’t think it’s all about the workforce or work from home. Does that make it more difficult now? Yes. But this has been asked for since they were still a part of activision. When they had more resources. And they still didn’t do it

Your right marshmall0w66 its not about bungies workforce or working at home its about 2 things 1 bungie have stop lisoning to what people who play d2 want to do in the game and right now what bungie want for d2 is very different form what the destiny community want d2 to be d2 is now all about what bungie want not what we want 2 and i do not no y this is but bungie want destiny 2 to be a granding game like fortnight or apx now and want iron banner to be on every month and all 1s a year special actives to be granding and or pvp its not what the destiny community want but its what bungie want i think it wood do bungie good to look at the player forums form time to time
