Kinda weird how our guardian treats him
Him having no memory isn’t entirely a excuse to forgive him
He was being controlled when he killed cayde and after our guardian kills the siren of riven he is no longer controlled and we still get revenge
My point is its weird that our guardian treats him so nicely after clearly killing him with no consideration that he was forced (controlled) to kill cayde

Uldren wasn’t being controlled. He was corrupted and tricked. However he killed more Guardians then just Cayde. His background includes sending Guardians to their death with false information. So Uldren was a Guardian killer long before he put a bullet in Cayde.
-
It’s pretty simple tbh Crow is not uldren Uldren is dead Crow lives They have had different life experiences and like you said uldren was controlled anyway. Crow has no knowledge of who or what uldren was in any way meaning that he has had different experiences resulting in a different personality entirely

This is true, but actually being in that position, seeing the face that, without much hesitation, gunned down your close friend, it would be understandable for one to have lingering feelings of hate and resentment. Tragedy has a way messing with ones ability to think logically.
-
That’s true but from an objective standpoint this makes the most sense
-
Idk why we didn’t just shoot him in the face on sight. He’s got a ghost now, he can just get revived as long as we leave the floating eye alone.
-
Our Guardian probably relates, considering they've been through the same situation. I mean, we don't know what our guardian did before they were resurrected, maybe we killed a few people too?
-
Its not a similar situation our guardian didn’t kill someone everyone loved in the tower mercilessly and proceeded to do terrible things in a region of space Our guardian was just a randy rando that got resurrected in the cosmodrome
-
We both wake up having no knowledge of what we've done, our guardian can clearly relate to that and actually understands what that means.
-
You understand you are comparing out guardian to the person who killed cayde right? The city in destiny doesn’t care they will still punish him so its easily fair to say our guardian feels the same way You keep applying our worlds philosophies onto a game
-
Have you read the Drifter and Dark Age lore? Acceptance isn't that hard among the main characters.
-
The difter killed his while team the instant he lost his light he didn’t even trust them As well guardians (some) were warlords
-
Yeah, I know. All I'm saying is that if anyone can understand not knowing what you've done in a previous life, a guardian can. As for applying real world logic, then I must point out you are also doing so by saying we must be mad at him. Maybe there's already precedent for something like this? We don't know exactly what happened to every single guardian that ever lived? Not to mention it was left ambiguous as to who shot uldren.
-
Mad cause story doesn't follow your idea 😪
-
Pretty much lol
-
We killed him, he paid for what he did. When your reborn as a guardian your a new person, separate of your past, it's the rule that Ana was basically breaking at the beginning of warmind that zavala was upset about.
-
So? Its clear our guardian doesn’t really adhere to any rules the vanguard makes hell they banned stasis and we still use it
-
Imagine waking up one day, not being able to remember anything, and someone comes up and knocks you out cold for something you don't remember. Actually take a second and think on it. Seem fair to you? Were their actions justified to you? Be careful when carrying stones while living in your glass house.

Your statement hold no weight when you remember our universe isn’t their universe Even if a amnesia situation happened we would still punish them If a killer kills someone and suffers damage and garner permanent amnesia we would still punish them they just dont get excused because they forgot what they did

-
actually aldren was insane when he killed cade in lore petra had him evaluated while in prison he , was, riven had drove him mad with all the schizophrenic delusions. plus he was never in control we see in the awoken tower he is trying to break free of riven's mind-control, but she won that battle of wills when we kill him its less an execution and more a mercy killing he even after nearly being eaten still believed rivens delusions
-
Amnesia isn’t insanity
-
Amnesia would be enough of a reason to plead insanity. Insanity in a court isnt “insanity.” It just means you had something mentally obscuring your decision making and judgement.
-
Thats not enough for a plea of insanity, it can shorten the sentence but it won’t let them get off scot free Even pleas of insanity can end you up in a place worse then prison
-
That’s not all what we’re talking about. I told you that even in real life, Crow would have a reasonable alibi to get out of his crimes.
-
Amnesia isn’t enough in real life
