Just to point this out, freeze is actually beneficial to you, because its SLOWER than actually just killing you.
Enemies running stasis subclasses have to spend more time actually killing you instead of just one shotting you.
Think of titans.
They freeze grenade then melee you.
Normally they would just 1 hit melee you.
See the point?

In the mean time there’s nothing you can do except mash buttons. That’s the problem. They’re taking longer to kill but you’re doing nothing to make a counter
-
The point is you would have died if they were running another class anyway. It feels more frustrating because you're stuck there for it and I get that, but it actually gives you a chance. Granted that chance is they make a mistake. Its not really any different than getting shoulder charged, throwing knifed, hhsn etc.... it just takes longer.

Not true. There were many instances that I had the upper hand. As in they had a near experience. It turns the tables very quickly.

.... like most abilities in the game can.

Most abilities don’t prevent a counter. I know what you mean. Line if I was absolute, being frozen or hit by celestial fire means my end. But being hit by celestial fire at full health gives me time to at least trade. That’s the counter.

Right, well I didn't mention celestial fire for a reason. I see some merit to an argument to rework the warlock melee into something like hhsn, but other than that i think the balance is pretty good. You know what's really frustrating? Watching my teammate get out of position and get into a punching match with a roided up chimpanzee wearing feedback fence. Then me getting electrocuted 5 states away because of it. 100 times more annoying than stasis.... been in the game forever.

I feel you. Or rather, I feel the electricity from across the map of the punching match feedback
