I feel like you should only take damage from breaking out of ice if it’s through getting hit by someone’s super. You shouldn’t be able to get frozen (by a stasis grenade) while in ur super. Any ability that has the potential to instantly freeze you or one shot you should have a charge up time before thrown, like hand held nova. Hunter ninja stars need to be changed. The melee ability needs to be a small A.O.E. Kama we can throw, a direct hit freezes the enemy, if it hits near them they should be slowed for 2 seconds. Makes no sense for bungie to give warlocks a instant ice staff melee ability and Titans a falcon ice punch that’s used for combat or get out situations with zero charge up time required.. while you give Hunters one ninja star while the second one is on cool down. Again Hunter stasis super needs a change or completely reworked. They gave us a instant cast ability that does a damage over time effect. That’s not going to work bungie.. that’s like the warlock nova bomb doing zero damage to you when hit, you only take damage from the small slow tracking orbs that come out afterwards. Nobody’s dying from our stasis tornado, it’s TOO SLOW and TOO WEAK. People are breaking out of the ice an simply jumping out of the tornado..

  • You seem to misunderstand how the class actually works. Not your fault. Alot of people keep looking at it like the others. It isn't about damage or kills. It is about controlling the fight. The melee is about slowing targets. The super is about zone control. Grenades are for suppression. Stasis isn't about big numbers, flashy kills, and brute forcing. It is about battlefield manipulation. Once you start using it with that in mind, I believe you will see a whole new world of opportunities and playstyle. Instead of trying to brute force a group with the super, up close, play to its long range launch; use it like an artillery strike. Throw it where the enemies are headed or where you know they want to go. Now they are trapped between frozen death or your bullets. Just my opinion

  • There are no one shot abilities with stasis outside of super. Though I could see a slight charge up time on warlock melee like you suggest. The Hunter super is pretty good IMO. If you direct impact someone on either pick they’re done. First freeze allows for some easy kills at times with weapons and if they don’t break out right away they’re hosed by the tornado unless you threw it to a separate place. Supers you need to directly hit them with the second one and they’re done. It lasts a good long time for area denial and allows you to pursue because they’ll die if they stand there. Sure people can get away sometimes. But people have been getting away from supers forever. Apparently a lot of gods among us that never get hit by many of them. Titan punch in super has a short delay before you can use it again. It’s great against plain guardians, but a lot harder vs supers IMO. But it’s funny AF to yeet someone off the map or physics them if you connect.

    Titans punch is technically a oneshot it’s meant to knock players back so hard that they k.o. When they hit any object.. Hunter stasis super can insta kill when directly hit by the kamas? Are you sure about that? https://gamerdvr.com/gamer/cache/video/117271767 When I first used it on the dude in the back did you see how he broke out of my ice an started running out of my tornado?? I had to finish him with my pistol.. first kama freezes him second Kama is spinning around his body, by the time it finally takes effect that warlock is already breaking out from the first kama an simply walking off from the second one.. do you see what I mean now? That’s one of many clips I have. Guy gets hit directly an the kamas just spin around his body.. if it wasn’t for my nade freezing him the first time he would’ve broken out of it, easily Killing me but the ice from my super overlapped the ice nade I threw.. This ain’t tether.. I shouldn’t have to whip out a pistol after hitting you with a hurricane..
