I’m curious if you have had any issues on subsequent nights. I too am from the UK and started having problems on 1 December with nightingale errors at a similar time. I’ve had the same problem every night since having never had this issue before. In my case it would take too long to download the game again so I didn’t do that but after about an hour of doing cache resets and generally trying over and over again with the odd break the problem went away but it keeps coming back by the next night. Wish I knew what the problem was as I’m a long term player and never had this before.

  • I only saw it once more after timing out on the server. Resetting the Alternative Mac address on my XBox, followed by a cold restart managed to fix it that time... Also a long term player and never seen the issue before. I don't understand networking enough to be much help but it seems to be that fiddling with your DNS settings can help. For me I changed from Google's 8.8.8.8 to Cloudflares 1.1.1.1 and along with many hopefully cold restarts of the Xbox and router it resolved it for now...

  • This worked a charm for me. switching my DNS to 1.1.1.1 solved the issue instantly. Thank you mate! Live long and prosper

  • Thanks for responding. You seem to know a lot more about networking than I do. I’ve fiddled with some settings on my router to do with DNS and that combined with another cache reset has got me in again. Out of interest who is your broadband with? Just wondering if it is a provider issue but strange we all started getting the problem at a similar time. I’m with Vodafone.

  • Also with Vodaphone... Their automatic DNS did work for me when I tried changing to that actually but I didn't want to use their one so tried Cloudflare instead.
