Crux Convergence is too Rare
I spent three hours roaming Europa with a couple friends last night, and we were specifically searching for Crux Convergence public events to complete the “Brig Brigade” triumph. In three hours we got exactly one. Just one. That’s just unacceptable, and a waste of our time.
Something needs to change, since this triumph is required for the Splintered seal. Here are some suggestions:
1: Change Brig Brigade to not require a fireteam. I don’t want to specifically form a team to hunt these things and never get one. If I’m on Europa by myself I should be able to get progress if I happen upon the event.
2: Make the Eclipsed Zone only have the Crux Convergence event. At least 1/3 of the events would give progress, which would be acceptable and thematic for that zone.
3: Swap the four levels of Brig Brigade with other triumphs that aren’t in the seal. There’s plenty of optional stuff that’s way more engaging than Brig Brigade and also not in the seal.
Personally, I think option 2 is best. I just want the RNG nightmare to end, so please consider a change!

It does stink that theres no way to just go farm it, but I think you're argument fell apart when you mentioned going after it for the Splintered seal. Assuming you've been staying on top of both the toy Penguins and the Augment Triumphs, there's still 5 weeks left before you can get the title. This is Week 4 of Beyond Light, so we aren't even halfway to the earliest possible date for the seal. This means that in order to have the triumph completed to get the seal at the earliest date possible, you need to do a total of 3 Crux Convergence events a week with a fireteam, and only one of those three has to be heroic. Honestly, I don't think the inability to grind something out "right now" warrants a change to the system, because this isn't something that is meant to be easily farmable. Even if you just do pub-events here and there with your team it shouldn't be too hard to finish. I'm at like 38/50 and we've never once gone in and tried to farm them. It would be different if you were actually being locked out of something by RNG -- for example, when Last Wish first launched, you needed the collection badge for the raid in order to get the title, and included in that loot pool was the Sparrow you get with the glittering key, as well as 1KV, which were both rare RNG drops and locked people out of the seal since you can only raid three times a week.
