Yes they are aware of it. It's been messed up since it was available and they've never been able to get right so far. I don't know why this is the only studio that can't get HDR right either.
Supposedly a fix coming but no timetable as I'm sure that this is last priority to make their game look good.
To be somewhat fair, this game needs attention in other areas as well.
