Destiny 1 Character import to Destiny 2
Hello,
I played Destiny 1 at release and reached a lvl30 Titan. I never bought any DLCs or Add-Ons.
Now I wanted to play Destiny 2 and I heard about the character import. I read the official faq import and I meet the requirements.
As soon I start Destiny 2, I see the Legacy opening and the date of my first play in destiny. If I press "to the next memory it doesn't show any destiny 1 character and it shows that I should press x to start a new adventure.
So I don't understand why I can't see my character from destiny 1.

At the beginning of the Red war campaign in D2 your character loses its light and everything in your vault at the beginning of the game. For the new light and returning players, there is the starting at 1050 power/light level for gear but you will need a D2 character to play D2. Note that your clans will be linked for destiny so if you quit your D1 clan to play in a D2 clan it will change your D1 clan as well. Welcome back to the grind as you will need to rebuild your levels to get current with the game.
