Use it with Thorn and then reply to this. I was rolling enemies in the legend nightfall with it last night. Every thorn kill also procs the poison spread.

See I used thorn and I still thought it wasn’t that good, though maybe I just need to get used to it. I do wonder though if has any interaction with unstoppable mods or not

I did notice it seems to work better when getting precision kills with it. It works better for the weak ads, I was killing groups of 7-8 thrall in a matter of seconds. Even the acolytes when grouped together were going down quick.

Ok so maybe I just need to shift my focus or change my loadout to better complement it. I also just don’t use thorn often and for whatever reason I just doesn’t feel powerful to me it’s weird, like I feel like some legendary weapons feels better than thorn, but again maybe I just to play with it more.

No you aren’t wrong, I am not a big fan of thorn in general but these necrotic grips made me want to use. Thorn itself isn’t strong at all and just feels weak but using them with the new exotic is just fun if you aren’t doing something super difficult. I was the only one under leveled doing the nightfall last night but ended up with more kills and I was solely using thorn.

😂 the same thing happened to me as well actually. I think I am going to give it more of a shot and try to experiment a bit more, thank you though for your thoughts on the gauntlet.
