I agree that requiring you to be in a fireteam is really stupid. They need to change it so that as long as you do damage to one before it dies then it counts (ie don't need the final blow). I rarely get to run in a fireteam and when I do its for a raid, dungeon, gambit or IB, not to go on patrol.
I also wonder if the triumph is bugged since some people claim to have made progress solo.

You rarely run in a team yet you do it for allllll those activities. Sounds like you can run in a team to do it.

I dont run those activities very often in a fireteam. When I am able to run with people nobody wants to simply go on patrol.

Pretty sure they do. To get lament everyone has to run the patrol zone. To progress the campaign and variks quests they do. Plenty of reasons to be in the patrol zone. Find some people. You have all of this season(or longer) to get it done.
