Just treat it like an open sandbox with no value other than getting bounties done and wait out your pinnacles. It makes it much more enjoyable.
Also if you get a bad game, just leave and find a new one. No one cares about the matches anyway, they just ape around for fun, so you might try that as well.

Suggesting people leave if they are having a bad game probably isn't a great idea considering you will get restrictions for doing so.
-
Unless it is an account ban I could not care less to be honest. Not being able to play crucible for a while will have zero impact at this point. In fact, it would probably be a blessing to be honest to not have to deal with that for a while :)
-
I can agree with that sentiment :)
-
No you wont. Lmao. I'm leaving every match that's unbalanced. Dont care anymore. Bungie wont do anything. It's not Comp lol

https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929#suspended Have a look yourself if you don't want to believe me!

That is a sure way to reduce the crucible population. Still, this is nothing new and it did not apply to crucible outside of comp before, which is why you do not get penalized there as you do in Comp. If it is new, then it has not been announced and I have not seen a single incident where this has happened as of yet? Not surprised if they do implement it considering the amount of people leaving games these days, but still....it's a game mode that mean nothing. Not like Comp where people actually play for a reason. Banning someone in crucible outside comp would be like banning people for strike fishing?
-
I agree, it's overboard but it is happening, I have seen a few posts regarding it on the forums recently as well.
-
It such a bad move from Bungie, but it's their game. I feel bad for PVP players later in the season as numbers will drop by a lot. The numbers are down to 770k yesterday, which is what...200k drop in a week? As Pinnacles stop being fun and everyone have their sniperkills done this will drop even more.
-
I think if they don't fix the mercy glitch by next week's Iron Banner, it's going to be a complete shit show. 60 ahead at any point is a mercy? We could be seeing 2-3 minute matches. Yikes.
-
I am good with it actually. If you are up with 60 in a few minutes the game is already over. Sure there is a chance to overturn the result, but considering the game mode it is like trying to hit a waterdrop with a dart from 50 meters :)
-
Actually, they will. They are restricting Gambit and Crucible quitters as well now. Not just comp.
-
It's just Comp lol.
-
Lmao wrong.
-
Read it again chuckles: " Frequent Quitting or Removal Players who frequently quit or are removed from Destiny Crucible or Gambit matches may receive a restriction or ban."
-
Yes, that has been there for years. This is why when you leave games in comp you get a notification that frequent leaving games could affect you. There is no such thing outside of comp at this time though. Gambit I never quit really so never know what you get there.
