They already drop spoils now though I feel that would devalue the nightfall which is significantly more challenging

    Tbf the nightfalls in Destiny 2 are much harder. I'm glad loot isn't locked behind them because I've avoided them for the most part until recently. Match game is just cancer... Along with other D2 modifiers

Match game is just cancer[/quote] I wouldn't say much harder. In D2, as long as you have the mods required or built ready to go it significantly reduces the difficulty. There was no such a thing in D1 really, sure D1 nightfalls forced a certain play when you were under levelled but no built could help you out enough. They had different annoying parts but for me nightfalls doesn't carry and prestige anymore like it used to in D1 seeing people with blue flames and gear to show for it. Where nightfalls are supposed to be part of end game activities, they are just there now to farm materials.
