It’s not RNG. It’s FU-RNG designed to inhibit progress. And it’s getting blatant now - I’m getting more and more repeated item types from “rewards” followed by a prime. Just like the umbrals did with the drifter. It’s designed to slow you down

  • Got some proof other than anecdotal experience? How do you explain every person who doesn't have the same experience? Sorry you're bitter, but strong accusations need proof not a sad story.

  • You understand probability? I’m a engineer - the runs of similar item types I get regularly must make me the luckiest human on earth - because random doesn’t fit that pattern. And funny many other complain about the same issue- anecdotal I guess too?

  • Exactly. The people who don't experience the same thing don't complain. As an engineer you know that in as large a sample size as the Destiny player base you're going to see extremes of all types.

  • No. You don’t see continual statistical anomalies and call it random. Occasional is one thing - consistent patterns are quite different. I have had runs multiple times with a probability of less than .001%
