There seems to be different tiers of pinnacles (although bungie won’t admit it) nightfall 100k and raids give +2 while the play three pvp/strokes/gambits only give +1

Bungie has stated there are 2 tiers of pinnacle drops. The 3 strike/gambit/crucible weekly are +1 pinnacles while the 100k nf and raid are +2 pinnacle drops. Been known for months.

Well that sucks. Perhaps doing what they’d I for powerful engrams where they make this clear in game would help. Not everyone reads their TWAB or twitch account.

Exo challenge, Empire Hunt and Crow's challenge are also +2. Clan powerful is actually a +1 pinnacle.
