THIS. It is the only way to do this quest in a remotely efficient way. Stasis abilities, including supers are not very good for raw damage (i.e. killing stuff). It is a mob control subclass, which makes this requirement annoying to say the least. Not sure if the finisher thing is intended or if it is a bug, but it does work. As others have noted, some finishers have an element associated with them and will not give you progress. Since I don't want to look up which ones work and because the default (white-rarity) finisher works for all classes, I only use that one while working on this quest. Is it still a pain to use finishers on champions? Yes. Is it also a pain if others in your fireteam are doing the same thing or insta-melting barrier champs with lament and stealing kills? Yes. But, it is still the best way to do it.

Any finisher while using the Stasis subclass will count as a stasis kill.

There’s only certain finishers like the gun one that are subclass neutral the other ones have elements

Edited by Stephenfritzel: 12/3/2020 4:37:59 AMActually there's alot of element neutral ones. The ones associated with a subclass obviously have that element, the saint 14 one is void, and the warmind valkyrie is solar. I think most of the rest are neutral.
