Hello I recently upgraded my gpu and monitor and HDR seems to be crashing this game. I tried turning off HDR in my settings but it just comes back on when I try launching the game due to auto HDR and you cannot turn off this feature on windows 10 so I can no longer play destiny 2 going forward it seems. Im very dissapointed to find many others with similar problems and hope to get some kind of answer or idea on when I might be able to play again as this has been very disappointing.

Then ask the team to revert the stupid changes to the engine, it just looks awful and created a frame drops and stutters issue, which 'yall keep ignoring that mega thread.

Just hook the console to a monitor. Then switch the brightness to 3 or 4 then hook the console back to the TV and then go to settings and you can now change the brightness as you want. If you don't have a monitor you can ask a friend who does to login to your account and change this setting for you. To Bungie: Maybe a brightness slider added to video settings may help to TV users for this.

Appreciate the reply. The fact that it's not occurring everywhere could make it easier to track down hopefully. I'm sure you're aware but Nessus seems to cause the biggest issues for people but other areas don't look quite right either.

Which means basically We don’t care, and never will try to rectify the glaring errors in our HDR coding

At least it's on their radar though. I'm sure a lot of Bungie employees are noticing the same issues on their high-end displays as well. It's probably not an absolute top tier priority but it's probably pissing them off as well. Hopefully it'll get fixed sooner rather than later.

Exactly. And it's a huge issue. I quit playing earlier because it was giving me a headache..
