Idk man.
I have never had HDR problems with Destiny.
This is also in the wrong forum. The correct forum topic actually has technical support at times and would increase your chance of getting real help as hard as it is to believe. Bungie doesn't care about feedback.

It's a known issue and well documented, just make a search and you'll find several threads and players with the problem. It all started after BL launch, before that HDR was working well.

Well let's be honest, HDR has never been working well. Working OK, yeah... I used to use guns to light up the way so I could see where I'm going when I do lost sectors. I used to do HDR photography, based on the premises of HDR before phones started to do digitally. I should be able to see those black areas clearly especially when there is no light source around to create contrasts. However, it didn't cause color changes before which it does now
