I don't think you know enough about Mr Han. If you haven't done New Light, I'd recommend playing that to get some more appreciation for Shaw Han and his role in the story. Yeah he's a more grounded character than Ms Time Travelling Robot, but that's kinda the whole point. He's supposed to be a basic character and friendly face to help introduce new players to the game. It's a job he does quite well. His basic characterisation as a simple fireteam leader who's a little bit too hard on himself for the deaths of his fireteam members is refreshing in the face of the more ambiguous characters like Eris. Just a friendly dude to work with against a threat that doesn't put the whole universe at stake. PLAY NEW LIGHT PEOPLE. IT'S ACTUALLY PRETTY GOOD.
