Ban for Inconsistent Network - Weasel

Hi, I am in the process of switching from a fixed-line Internet connection to an LTE router, which does not always have the most stable connection. The connection speed sometimes fluctuates considerably... just as it did for my brother And seeing the recent connection problems my brother has, who previously didn't have severe connection issues, receive a ban because of this... Deluxe Edition + DLCs for 100€ gone just like that? Excuse me - what??? There is no rational reason to permanently ban somebody for that. I understand when somebody says that affects other player's experience but in this particular case? He has been using the LTE router for a maximum of 2 weeks! That permanent ban is simply not justifiable. I also saw the post on (https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Article/11929#banned), but a permanent ban is a bit harsh if I look at the price tag... I hereby ask a (moderator / someone who can take action) to look at this case and clarify.

 • You probably wont get a ban if you stay out of competitive game modes. If you choose to play those, you need to have good internet. You agreed to that, if you choose to play on crap internet, expect the penalties.

 • Howdy there! The #Help forums are not able to assist with appeals of restrictions or bans. However, there is a process in place for you to appeal your ban or restriction. Please review the Contact Form: Appeal Ban or Restriction article found here. [i]Please note that, as mentioned in the article, there is no guarantee for a response, nor is there a guarantee that your ban or restriction will be overturned. • -_- It's it a BAN or a RESTRICTION? Because they are entirely different things.
