Vendors will still rotate all currencies for the season to allow players to spend any extra stockpiles they may have. If you do not have the currently required currency, you just have to wait for the next reset when the materials change.

I used all my old currency the first week, now I have to wait sometimes days to be able to purchase upgrade modules because both currencies from gunsmith are outdated. Sounds more like another tool to extend grind and encourage eververse purchases to me.

Your tinfoil hat is a bit tight there bud. How would allowing some players to use their stock piles encourage micro transactions? you cant buy mats from Eververse.
-
Mattergems which drop update modules, don't wear tinfoil hats but will gladly make you a dunce cap.☮

you mean the ones you have to use brightdust to buy? Not silver
-
Those would be the ones... Yes! The bright dust they cut in half on bounties, and the same bright dust people normally save to use on ornaments and other cosmetics so they don't have to buy silver if they choose not too.... Yes those are the ones I mean.☯
-
So...how does Bungie gain if someone buys one of those? Also would it not be easier to use a ghost mod and run a few strikes pvp or gambit while you are completing other quests?

Thank you. The Link says, that vendors will not accept them as a currency. "Starting in Season 13, Phaseglass Needles, Alkane Dust, Simulation Seeds, and Seraphite will be no longer accepted by vendors." So there is a mistake in the Link or the game? If vendors no longer accept them, then it shouldn't be costing those materials. I'm more confused then before now.

You are correct, in season 13 they will not accept them, we are in season 12.
