G'Day mate! Love the logic regarding the lore aspect of the two weapons! I too would like to see a buff on the Lance! However, are you aware that the Aim Assist got buffed by +15? This goes for all scouts though. If the PL was to get better IMO, it would have to be Highlighting Targets & Handling +15. I'm only saying this because I have the PL Master worked with Dragonfly as well as Perfect 5th. I reckon that if the hitbox and handling buff coincided with Highlighting targets, the dang thing will be insane! Just like it's crazy sister.....

That made me laugh. She wasn’t adopted 😂 The aim assist buff doesn’t show much. If you really want aim assist use Jade Rabbit. I just want this gun to be all it can be. Always liked it and liked Scouts but with the introduction of NTTE it become one of the many useless exotics.

Glad my ignorance to the lore is a source of entertainment! LOL. Here I was was believing Ana was adopted when I clearly missed the update somewhere that she really wasn't... I have however noticed a surprising "stickiness" regarding the Polaris Lance. Having an exotic in my Kinetic slot isn't part of my arsenal at the moment though. Maybe I'll try the Jade Rabbit later, I'm using the the Polaris Lance in place of my Forge Tango 45 with 70+ Stability, mid-range (highlighting enemies) scope with a range masterwork and Dragonfly that was sadly sunset.

You serious about the adoption part or no? Exo stranger explains during your quest for the new grenades that Ana was told she was adopted because it was easier than telling her the truth that her dad kinda slept around. They are biological sisters, just not from the same mother. Let me take a moment to say that you would think that so far in the future, some guy would make an implant that would temporarily sterilize a male's seed, and that accidents would be a thing of the past. But nope, apparently making hot and thicc robots was a bigger priority. Okay maybe that why it never happened.

Oh ok, so Ana wasn't adopted. Wouldn't that then be even more of a reason to make the PL more like the NTTE just like the OP has mentioned?

Yeah. Maybe giving them warmind cell capabilities would be enough too, to be quite honest. Exotics that will always be able to provide use with those mods? They will stay in my inventory forever.

I've been using PL with the wrath of Rasputin mod, not as consistent as other methods of generating warming cells but at least it spawns them occasionally.

Yeah. But Sunshot is definitely a better option than PL. Consistency is key to making warmind cells work so well. Just do it already Bungie! Some old catalysts could definitely use some love in the meantime.

Too true! Just another dream for now though......Weapon perks have become a little more interesting in BL, but from what I've sampled so far, the rolls are I got a pretty dang hopeless. Using my PL now and enjoying the +15 Aim Assist....headshots galore in PvE but IMO, still not a PvP go-to Scout as handling is waaay too low for the madness there IMO.

Perhaps someday. Honestly, Sleeper should at the very least make warmind cells. It is the most obvious exotic that should be capable of it.
