Lost lament Quest not giving me Exo Challenge
I am on the "complete exo challenge" step for lost lament and I finished the variks quest for the Exo challenge but the sword quest did not progress. Says I still need to finish the exo challenge. Ran it again and it still didnt work. Deleted the quest and picked it up again and still on same step. What am I doing wrong?
Update: i logged out of destiny completely, logged back in and ran the exo challenge again and it worked this time.

I have deleted this quest from all guardians, logged out of the game completely, logged back in and picked up Lost Lament from the tower kiosk, ran the Exo Challenge again, and still no progress. Variks never gave me, nor has it ever been available to pick up the Old Secrets New Challenges quest that I was supposed to finish before getting Lost Lament.
