I have actually no problems with playing the game but critical problems are coming when a video sequence is playing. Im able to play the game in ultra settings with over 60 frames per second but in the moment a video-sequence is playing it drops down to 3 fps and most of the time Im not even able to skip it and have to wait until Im geting forced back to the menu with a error message appearing telling me that the game noticed FPS problems. This problem does not with all sequences happen but for the most and some of them as I've said Im not even able to skip. After I've tried to find a way to fix it and to get help from support or other users/players for several weeks now and still got not a single reply for my requests I'll give it a last shot here. I've to mention that I've tried the stuff (as long as it made sense) with no success or changes. Another user with a similiar problem told me that he believes the problem is caused by DirectX12 because it's only compatible with Win10 and Im not using that - and I think Im not the only one. Him and also another user told me they're not using Win10 as well so that's the thing we've in common. For me this theory makes sense! Here are my Specs:
CPU: Intel Xeon E3-1231 v3 3.40 GHz GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti RAM: 16 GB OS: Win7 Pro
• I'm in the same boat, it seems that most of the people (myself included) that have the cutscene issues are on Windows 7 so that seems to be a common thread, I've only seen a couple with the same issue with windows 10. I was really hoping todays hotfix fixed it, but sadly it doesn't. I'm able to skip the scenes on mine so I think I'll finally give up and just play like that, it makes me sad because this dlc is so lore heavy and the cutscenes seem to be really meaningful.

 • I've got the suspicion the problem is caused by DirextX12 - another user told me Bungie switched from 11 to 12 and that's not supported for anything but Win10. There are reports from other games - most famous one might be World of Warcraft - with same or similiar problems. In the example of WoW they've worked out some kind of a fix for Win7 users. But that had some problems as well... in the end Directx12 did not reduce performance problems but caused them... Even if you're on WIn10 - if there is unsupported Hardware it wont work.
