I figured out my issue, its the resolution on my new monitor. My new monitor has a resolution of 3840 x 2160 and that causes frame drops in D2 for whatever reason. I dont want to change this because I paid for this monitor to use the whole thing, not to have D2 windowed to half my monitor and trying to play like that. I really do understand that making games is hard and im really trying to be nice but please for the love of god Bungie fix your shit. I love you but this has gone on for so long now and I just want good frames.

  • If you've upgraded to larger resolution monitor you need to make sure your graphics card can handle playing at that framerate. This isn't explicitly linked to the other issues some of us are having.

  • My graphics card can handle the resolution. It handles it at 100 FPS on GTA and ARK: Survival Evolved at ultra graphics. Destiny 2 is the only game I have the problem with. I have lowered my resolution and I’m back to getting 120 FPS but it’s just not right yknow? Everything is a little squished but hey it’s playable and I’m ok to wait for a fix.
