Did your friend start at any point after people had flown in, or were they there from start to finish from orbit to orbit?

I was there from start to finish, matter is I disconnected seconds before we finished the 3rd encounter.

If you weren't present for the completion of the encounter, then that's the encounter you would have had to redo. Unfortunately, it's a bit too late now as the 24 hour window is up.
