  • Agree on that. Titan was 2nd stasis that I unlocked and I have found melee pretty jacked up. If it was spammable on miss then people would only use it for movement ability though realistically. It needs a buff to aim assist or at least freeze and shatter effect on impact.

  • The melee is not jacked up and is intended to actually be like that. It only starts to track once you release, if you don't release on time then you will move past the target because it can be used as a movement technique. The fault that is misses is solely on the user.

    I can see your concern on spamming for movement, but Shoulder Charge and Hammer Strike don't have that issue, if they modeled it after that, like made it active while sprinting maybe it would be better.

  • Those also have a very small fraction of distance traveled which is likely why they made this melee consume the charge and those not. Maybe they could just divide the distance of new melee by the distance of shoulder charge then multiply that by the cool down of shoulder charge since that should still be less than waiting for entire recharge. I’m more inclined to believe they should just improve performance of it rather than not charge for misses. Throwable melees have same type of deal where you miss it’s tough crap, which sucks but does make some sense. Unfortunately the more generous they get the more people will abuse it. I would 10/10 spam that ability to move faster if they didn’t trigger a cool down on it.
