Im just kinda eh. Beyond light isn’t the big issue for me, I really like it. But it’s how sunsetting has made the other dlcs less... replayable. I just want to do pit of heresy and get a good reward. Is that too much to ask for? A dungeon worth doing? Is that too much?

I’m enjoying the new content and the subsequent new gameplay because of the stasis subclass. I’m very disappointed in Bungie for all of the bugs, glitches, etc that have occurred since BL dropped that remain issues or have simply been disabled. Where are the hot fixes? Why hasn’t Witherhoard been fixed yet for example. It’s been a week. The fact that many players were able to exploit certain activities to power level prior to them being disabled has thrown a real curve ball to the players who weren’t able to exploit. The game basically revolves around doing chores or bounties. The fact so much was removed and we are grinding the same strikes over and over because of the DCV makes the game tiring to play regularly. Overall based on what’s been released so far I’d say this is a 6 out of 10 expansion. Not total poop but the flies are definitely noticeable buzzing about meaning there’s been a big dump left somewhere. Most likely the lack of new weapons to replace what’s been sunset. Time for a different Game Direction. Way past time actually.

So far? I'm on the fence. I know the content is being drip fed to us to keep a carrot in front of our eyes for playtime. I'm not a fan of that, but here we are, so I will wait to make a full opinion on BL. That being said, there are some glaring issues I personally think should have been addressed LONG before launch. The moon and Dreaming City, still in game, and used in the current season I might add, while dropping sunset gear in said locations?? Shocking to say the least. I don't even know how they considered that a good thing in any regard. Issues like Witherhoard? Should have been caught long before launch IMO. Multiple other issues are frustrating as well. Trying to give the benefit of the doubt, and that the content to come will be great. I loved the main quest so far, I like that they are adding cut scenes more throughout, so we shall see.
