Hey there. This is a known issue. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait until weekly reset before you can claim another one ([url=https://twitter.com/BungieHelp/status/1326015557712310274?s=20]Bungie Tweet[/url]):

Hopefully it’ll get addressed in a future update. Wish I had better news, but hope this helps!

It's definitely unfortunate we can't retrieve some abandoned quests. They should at least give a forewarning that you won't be able to get them back :(
