That's a pretty unfortunate policy to have and not the best customer service when someone has just given you more money. I guess this will by my last Destiny release and it's time to find another game.

I'm in the same boat. I'm 99.99% sure that when season's first started, they specifically said that if we purchased a season and then upgraded to deluxe the silver would be returned.
