Howdy!
Currently, there is no way to get the emblem again. When the event went live, a mission was added to the Tower Directory that you had to play and access to earn the emblem. If you didn't play this, you would not be given the emblem.

Like I said, I did. I just didn't get the emblem, I even saw the final cutscene... I was guessing this was because of server issues, but I was expecting to receive the emblem afterwards.

Yeah.. I know. I was with a fireteam, and I was the only one that didn't get it. I even exited the social space and went in solo a few times. No dice

Most people are reporting that joining into the mission as a fireteam leaves only the fireteam leader getting the emblem, or only a few people in the team getting it. The solution at the time was to rejoin the mission alone on a different character, but obviously you cannot do that now. Unfortunately, there is no way to currently get the emblem, and Bungie has not made any statement on if they would award the emblem to those who didn't get it for this reason.

Oh no. That's troublesome :/. It's just an emblem, but I'd like to get it. I was digging for information at that time, but didn't find anything. Oh well..

Hello, As I mentioned in my post, you would have needed to have switched characters, and then rejoined solo. If you stay on the same character, it would not take you back to the first loading zone but would load you into the social space. If you switched characters, you'd be put back into the first zone and given the emblem.
