[i]It probably will end up disappointing many, mainly because of false expectations. A lot of people seem to think it’s AAA game because it’s being [b]published[/b] by Gearbox. In reality, the game is being made by Counterplay Games, a small studio with only 75 staff. In reality, this title is AA title, comparable to Ninja Theory’s Hellblade: Senua’s Sacrifice. AA titles look and feel like AAA titles, but they aren’t made with the same type of resources, nor are they expected to be as big ( game size/campaign length ) as AAA titles. Because it’s a AA game, the first strike against it is its price. Gearbox ( the publisher sets the price ) are charging €70 for it. In reality, this title should be €40-€50. I’m vaguely interested in this title, but with circumstances being what it is, I no longer have the time to invest in another loot based game. And neither Gearbox, or Counterplay Games has shown me anything beyond combat, that sets Godfall apart from the thousands of loot based, games as a service games out there that are vying for my attention.[/i] [i]having said that, I am rooting for it.
