Am I supposed to have a specific item for the quest completion?

The Obsidian Accelerator is of two types. One is this, that you get for doing the Mini-Niobe Labs quest. The second one is random drop in forges. We are talking about the first version of this. From what i have checked on the forums and google, "As it turns out if you talk to Ada-1, and then close the vendor and immediately hit the E key it will load the quest conversation, not the vendor." Then it was the solo/fireteam thingy, restart is never a wrong way to go either If neither of these work, try clearing your download cache and it might work.

I loaded in just now today and went to talk to her and it worked first try..I am so confused. Thanks for the words of advice
