Before I get destroyed, I'd like to point out a couple things.
Yes, black lives do matter, but not more than anybody else's. Innocent people are being killed. In fact, somebody in my neighborhood was shot right through the chest in full view of his kids when they were playing Tennis. Killing people isn't helping their cause.
Also, it is incredibly hypocritical to say "Hey, we matter!" and then kill somebody in front of their children. Do they really expect killing peolle is gonna get them to listen? What makes your life matter more than the man you just killed?
What they should've done is gather peacefully outside of a building. It's called a peaceful protest and it gets the job done. But, apparently their lives matter more so...
Everybody's life matters. No more, no less. Saying you matter and then killing somebody, acting like they didn't matter is awful. The majority of people think people like me are racist because we're against BLM. I'm not against because of their race, I'm against what they're doing.
You literally just said all lives matter. Yes, it's a no-brainer that all lives do matter. That will never change. Nobody deserves to die. But it is and currently still is black people who tend to be more targeted in this specific incident. Police are killing us. They don't target white people as much. They are as trigger happy as they are with us. It's not that other lives don't matter. It's that in this moment our lives do.
-
Most killings by police occur for reasons unrelated to race. Most people killed by police in America are white -- not African-Americans. For example, Daniel Shaver was white. He was shot and killed while sobbing and pleading for his life, trying to comply with confusing orders from the police. blacks were 8.2 times per capita as likely as a nonblack to be a known murder offender in 2019. But nobody else ever mentions that blacks, at 13.4% of the population, make up now well over 50% of murder offenders. (In contrast, blacks wind up between 1/4th and 1/3rd of police killings.) So I guess the answer must be invisible Systemic Racism or something.
-
This is dumb. Why is it you lot seem to try to fight at every turn when we speak up against the injustices that happen to us? Stop trying to strawman and take away from real things. I'm not going to sit here and educate you on things that you can damn well learn yourself. How about you examine all the facts before you sit here and try to cherry pick.
-
Thats simply statistically false, sorry. Carry on though, I support you right to be wrong.
-
Negative sunshine. But thanks.
-
How can you be targeted more than white people when most of this countries population is made up of white people?
-
Okay. This needs to be said. Yes, a higher percentage of blacks are killed by police. Is it due to racism? Perhaps some of it is. That could very well be the case. However, is there nothing else that could possibly have something to do with it? The truth is, about 5 percent of the white population are violent criminals. About THIRTY percent of the black population are violent criminals. That means that black people are SIX TIMES more likely to be violent criminals than whites. That's a fact. Also a fact: white people make up approximately 6 times more of the percentage of the total population than black people. So, is it because of racism that a higher percentage of blacks are killed than whites, or is it because a higher percentage of blacks are violent criminals? I'll let you decide.
-
I'm sorry, after the past year events, after the BLATANT use of white privilege during the insurrection, the blatant show of favor during the insurrection... ...you really have the nerve to say "is it really racism"? I leave you to ponder also the murder of a black woman in her home while she slept. And the fact that he got away with it. I leave you with the murder of a black man begging for his mother pleading that he couldn't breathe. Not enough? How bout the black kid that was shot over skittles? Still not enough? How bout the straight use of violent measures by the police during peaceful protests which sparked violent protests over the summer? Yes dude. It's prejudice. I'm the wrong dude to try to pull one over.

Ashley Babbitt. Say her name
-
Nah. She committed treason. I'm good.
-
But I suppose carrying a body around in your trunk keeps you in good social standing, attempting to kidnap your ex's kids after sexually assualtung her is honorable and ingesting your recently acquired fentinol fix when you aren't busy holding pregnant women at belly gunpoint is the first steps for Sainthood, right? Get off your high horse.

Edited by GraySithHolocron: 1/19/2021 5:49:54 AMYou got it backwards, dude. I'M the wrong guy to try to pull one over. All of those cases are cherry picked. There are just as many cases of whites and hispanics being murdered by police. Listen, I agree that policing in America needs a serious re-work. I would even say on a fundamental level. But if you're trying to convince me that the higher per capita death by cop rate among the black community is entirely or even mostly because of racism, I'm sorry, but no. The facts and statistics don't bear you out. Not even a little bit. You're going to need a stronger argument than cherry picked cases.
-
Ha...haha...no. you're not. That's cute though. Let me reel back though, as this subject... infuriates me. As one who has faced racial prejudice from the police. For no reason other than...you guessed it...walking. I'm going to educate you a little bit. Cherry picked? All it takes for you to do is an internet search of the cases recorded and the DETAILS of them. It's staggering. You can see for yourself the stats if you actually dive into it. What the stats tell you are that white people get killed too. I see your misconception. What you're not reading into is that many more black people are killed with minimal to no resistance. Many, many more. My people were killed for no reason other than...."suspicion". https://interactive.aljazeera.com/aje/2020/know-their-names/index.html This link is a list of victims of police brutality. You say "cherry picked", but do you really know? Does this list tell you cherry picked?
-
LOL, did you unironically link to al jazeera of all places? Thanks for that. That tells me everything I need to know about you. Have fun with your spreading of lies and communist propaganda.
-
Ah. And there we are. Another one of those. Yeah. Muted. The nation you want? Not happening.
-
Another one of those what? What are you accusing me of being? Also, exactly what kind of nation are you assuming I want? I have very little doubt that your assumptions about me are completely wrong, but let's see. Please, do tell me what conclusions you've drawn, and let's see if they're correct.
-
You Dredgen Luna are woefully mistaken.
-
What? No, I'm not.
-
Actually that is false, police are not trigger happy with blacks. They just get in more trouble bc they refuse to comply. Now don’t get me wrong there are some bad cops who have wrongly killed ppl but that doesn’t mean the system is racist and that doesn’t mean “white” privilege is real, that term is a delusional. It’s so blacks who can’t get a life can feel sorry for themselves and blame whites for they’re wrong doings.
-
I’m not going to get in a debate with you. Look up statistics for yourself. Stop getting your information from a news network.
-
Oops. Thought you were replying to my post. Weird that I got a notification for that.
