We are still getting New Gear, from what I've seen
4 New Armour Sets
3 New Sets of Weapons.
The 4 Armour sets:
Raid
Europa Theme
Season Theme
1 Year Set
The 3 Weapon Sets:
Season weapons
Raid weapons
Europa Weapons.
Enough to play Around with.
Something to Remember is Back in ShadowKeep we had the 3 Weapons from Alters of Sorrows. There very well could be Secret unknown weapons. Like Hawkmoon, has no Set date, even though it's coming with Beyond Light. That's what made D1 Asome, the Mystery of what is hidden.

in beyond light, there's 2 sets because the season is separate, but 50 dollars is not worth 3 sets of weapons that will be terrible because Bungie not wanting perks such as rampage and kill clip-on gear anymore and even if they're good 50 dollars for maybe 10-12 weapons is horrible, taken king had like 20 weapons just in faction gear, had like 6 raid weapons, had strike specific weapons, has good exotic quests, had vanguard and crucible gear, had cool swords, has 4 strikes, 9 crucible maps, and more content. But beyond light will have 1 strike, no crucible maps and a new armor set for the core playlist's and is worth more than taken king even without the season.

Yes, we're getting new some new gear/weapons but how much of it are they going to throw leaves on them and call it "new" and bringing back weapons that have the same perks with the lovely absurd amount of duplicates that drop in this entire game?

With me IRDGAS, when my Nature of the Beast HC was brought back with Random Rolls. I loved it. If Bungie is bringing all Y1 Weapons back with Random Rolls, 😎👍. And if they bringing updated versions like, "oh that weapon would be really cool with Multi Kill clip", or " let's give that weapon Sympathetic Arsenal"

For me, bring everything back from y1 is not an incentive. Right now most of the exotics in this game I don't even use and I know they are not going to improve them. IMO there are way too many weapons in this game that are of no use.

I'm asking cause I don't know: are we not getting a set for Cosmodrome as well? Kinda hoping we were. Maybe if not in this season, we can in the next?

It wasn’t because of a new dlc there was a vendor refresh. So realistically we got the Days of Iron, Archon Forge, and Raid gear. Vendor refresh should be a thing but Beyond Light is actually offering more than something like RoI in terms of DLC armor.

Forsaken gave us new crucible and vangaurd armor and some new guns. While it wasn't technically part of the dlc a refresh was associated with it. Actually you needed to buy the ROI dlc to access the new gear. That's why if someone didn't have a hawksaw they could delete the expansion and go to the quartermaster to get one. But that wasn't the case in ttk, it was weird.

They offer Different Ornaments. The Armour is Universal.

Crucible, gambit, and vanguard are getting new armour sets as well. Sadly no weapon refresh.

To be fair to the people who complain, crucible, gambit, and strikes are getting one shared set of armor that either has an ornament for the activities or reacts uniquely to that activitie's shader.

We are literally getting the same old gear thrown back at us again and again in the vendor loot pool after years of the rng tokens and being unable to pick our rewards. They just made a large chunk of it useless outside of non power based pvp. I’m definitely interested to see what they plan on doing with that gear and am willing to bet it’ll be recycled instead of replaced.
