I need some tips for pvp, and how to try to keep relaxed.

Hi, sorry to bother peoples time with reading, I wanted to know if there are some ways to help me improve in crucible and Gambit? (Invading/dealing with invaders), I am just going to say, I'm not good, nor able to improve very well, not because of a meta, not because of matchmaking or what other excuses there is. I honestly do what to improve, there are some really amazing looking weapons that I've really wanted to get (mostly the trio-of hand cannons, I love the gunplay of last word.) But the problem is, is that I just can't seem to get in kills, it took me 2 matches to get ONE percent on the thorn's kill with void hand cannons quest. I find it really hard to not panic whenever I see an enemy, (I have anxiety when it comes to being pressured, and being pressured with players all over scare me) Is there anything I can do in terms of tips and or practice to help me? Anything that could assist me or teach me would be really helpful, thank you. I hope you are currently having a good day!

 • Start by extending your life. Forget kd or kad. Run a drill where your goal is not to die. This is harder than it seems. To do this you’ll learn to constantly watch radar and you’ll begin to anticipate where fights are because you’ll be focused on where your teammates are, where spawns are, sounds, basically all the stuff that you don’t focus on because you’re anxious about fighting, aiming down sights, and losing situational awareness. You’ll learn that you need to constantly move fast to cover. Hug walls, run behind things that break line of sight. Stay out of lanes and open areas. After you learn how to read the game and move to extend your life more. Start working on adding verticality to your movement until its second nature. Burst glide to cover. Slide in and out of cover. Jump around corners and over doors. Then when you feel like movement in and out of cover is really extending your life, start working on getting assists - not kills. Play your life. Bit by bit, those assists will become kills, but your movement and game awareness will take you to the middle to top of the board more often. I’m not a great pvp player, but I’ve gone from terrible to the middle / top of the board regularly enough to have fun. Even now with small sweaty cbmm lobbies. You can get better. Good posts elsewhere in this thread. Eyes up and good luck.
