I agree, it’s a mistake and ignores the real issues with snipers like flinch.
Yes, low-zoom scopes are heavily overused, but that’s because snipers with higher zooms offer no benefit. AA and impact should both increase with zoom.

Feels like sidearms and smgs took half a step forward by not moving at all.

I think sidearms need a slight range nerf, and SMG’s need a damage and stability buff.
